  • A media directory contains:
    • list of publications
    • editors names and addresses
      • Local media directories are often available from the chamber of commerce

  • Errors to avoid:
    • spelling
    • jargon and gobbledygook
    • poor sentence structure
    • wrong words
    • “sound-alike” words
    • redundancies
    • too many numbers
    • hype
    • bias and stereotypes
    • politically incorrect language
