Strategies for: Tapping the Groundswell

  • POST method
    • People- what will they accept?
    • Objectives- what do you want to achieve?
    • Strategy- how do you intend to do this?
    • Technology- what applications need to be built?

Five objectives: Pick one that best fits your company’s overall objective.

  1. Listening- use groundswell to understand your customers through research
  2. Talking- use groundswell to send out information about your company
  3. Energizing- get your most enthusiastic users to promote your company through word of mouth using groundswell
  4. Supporting- use groundswell tools to allow customers to support one another.
  5. Embracing- allowing customer input to help design your products
