  3. Be sure the feature helps achieve organizational objectives

Types of Features

  • Case Study
    • How a product or service solved a problem

  • Application Story
    • How to use a new product
    • How to use an old product in a new way
  • Research Study
    • About some aspect of contemporary lifestyles or common situation in the workplace
  • Backgrounder
    • Can focus on a problem and how the problem was solved
    • Can explain where a product comes from or how it is made
    • Can provide background information to consumers so they may make intelligent purchase decisions
  • Personality Profile
    • Focuses on a ‘celebrity’ or person
  • Historical Piece
    • History on an organazition can be provided after the organization passes some sort of significant milestone
